Anyone know how easy it is to fit a new washer/wiper stalk on the steering column of an MPi?
The Haynes manual says you have to take the steering wheel off. Do you really HAVE to?? I know Haynes tells porkies sometimes! I'm just worried about the airbag situation!

Ok, so it's not possible to do this without taking off the steering wheel, as the retaining tag holding the stalk to the clumn is under a collar which the steering wheel fits onto. Bugger!
So I'm getting someone else to do it! Why do they have to have such a stupid design??! I'm going to buy a proper mini! Lol! Bloomin MPis!
